Test Evaluation "The Locker Room" Report
Before commencing an on-ice test, we send a form to the club and/or players to fill out some information including players email address which we will then upload to our database. After that, each player receives an email with his login details. This allows him to query his test results after the test.
After completion of the test, all test results are uploaded to the Sport Testing database by Sport-Tests (Switzerland). Afterwards the athletes have access to the "Locker Room Report" in order to be able to query their test data with password protection. The Locker Room Report compares only the test results of all participants who have taken the test at the same time, ie the "team test". The test results of the athlete are compared with the best result, the average and the worst team result during this specific test.
The Locker Room report shows the players results in milliseconds on where he stands in terms of performance to his teammates. By clicking on the graphics all analysis on this website can be viewed enlarged in PDF.
The "Coaches Report" Review
After completion of the test, the coaches can log into the database of Sport Testing Inc. (no later than six hours after the test). The coaches can download a detailed test report in Excel and / or PDF format evaluated in milliseconds. In addition, it is possible to download an even more detailed report, which evaluates the 5-meter split times in the sprint tests. Also he receives more detailed information regarding the reaction tests, like the three split times after 15 meters, 30 meters and 45 meters, respectively and the final time.
The "Coaches Report" Evaluated According to the Testing Index Method
In addition to the coaches’ report from Sport Testing, the coaches receive a test report designed by Sport-Tests (Switzerland), which is prepared according to the testing index method. Sport-Tests (Switzerland) have created a fixed benchmark that compares the test results with the new generation of young NHL players who have taken the same test.
Our benchmark draws on the results of 68 NHL first round drafts, of which 34 are already playing in the NHL. Top rookies like Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, Aaron Eckblad as well as Nico Hischier, all # 1 picks completed this test and delivered the results for our benchmark. Our benchmark delivers the top result of each testing-element and is rated 100%.
Then we compare each test result with our benchmark result which is then evaluated as a percentage to the top result. The average of all ten test disciplines gives the final overall Testing-Index number. Because we analyze all ten testing disciple, each player can also compare his discipline result with the benchmark result, which clearly shows him his strengths and weaknesses compared to the NHL players.
Special Evaluation in Comparison With the New Generation Of NHL-Players
As a partner of world leader Sport Testing Inc. from Toronto, Canada, we collected all the testing data from the CHL/NHL Top-Prospects Combine. The top NHL-drafted players from 2013-2015 were MacKinnon, Ekblad, and Connor McDavid. Those players became NHL superstars and have been tested with our standardized on-ice testing skill program, which formed the basis of our proprietary “BENCHMARK” On-Ice Testing Evaluation method.
More than 4,000 players were tested in Europe and Russia under the Sports-Tests method, and more than 60,000 test data were evaluated, including from twenty-seven European drafted NHL players. We know what test results it takes to become a top hockey player.
Our methodology shows the player how talented he is and where his strengths and weaknesses lie to set new goals. "If you don't know where you stand, you can't set yourself a goal."
We tested more than 4’000 hockey players, collected more than 60’000 testing results, and evaluated them based on our proprietary worldwide unique ice hockey comparison index.
Our data analysis clearly shows that we can identify talented players from a young age and know what it takes to become a top player from an early age.
The benchmark method shows us not only where the player is in terms of performance compared to the NHL players; we can very quickly and impressively recognize talents in the age comparison and also easily can show strengths and weaknesses to the players, not only in skating but also in the technical aspect of hockey like the comparison of tests with and without the puck.
